

Sally Morrison Fick, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed at the age of 84 at the UCLA Valley Medical Center, West Hills, California after a lengthy illness. She was born July 4, 1940, in Evanston, Illinois.
Sally was one of four siblings, Renee Clinkunbroomer, her older sister who survives her, and her younger brothers, Thomas Morrison, and William Morrison both deceased.
The family moved to Hollywood CA, in the mid-1950s. Sally worked at the Department of Water and Power. While there, she climbed the business ladder and during the late 80’s decided to pursue a degree at the Pepperdine University in Business Management where she received a bachelor’s degree. Her DWP career lasted 38 years when she retired in 2002.
After retirement, she was a member of the Lions Club, a docent at the J. Paul Getty Museum, she was an active member of the Old Treasures and Volunteer League; she sang in the Ladies Choral Group, She was a docent at the Leonis Adobe Museum in Calabasas and was an active member of the Don Jose De Ortega Chapter, of the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution). At DWP, like with many of the organizations she volunteered her time, she made countless and lifelong friendships.
Sally leaves behind a legacy of an unwavering dedication to those around her. She will be remembered for her radiant smile, and her ability to call everyone her friend.
Sally is survived by her daughter Tammy Kinsley (John) of Pawleys Island, South Carolina; her grandson, Sean Vogl of Liberty Hills, Texas; her granddaughter Allyson Vogl of Boston, Massachusetts; her sister Renee Clinkunbroomer of Mission Viejo, CA; her niece Dawn Fulkerson (John) of Rancho Santa Margarita, CA; her son-in-law, Peter Vogl of Gardnerville, Nevada; and her nephew Brent Morrison (Caroline) of Atlanta, Georgia; and an abundant amount of friends whose lives she touched.
Though her earthly presence will be deeply missed, her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her dearly.
