Sandra "Sam" Johnston, age 78, of Westlake Village, California passed away on Wednesday, August 27, at the age of 78. Sam worked in the financial industry for almost 15 years, and then moved on to a successful career in the interior design business. Sam was also an author of children's books. Sam is Survived by her husband Tim, her brothers Rodney Rodriguez and family, Duane Rodriguez and family and Ronald Rodriguez and family , her sisters Denise Costerus and Rebecca Russell. The family would like to thank Maria Guerrero, caregiver and friend for the love, care and compassion she has shown to Sam prior to her passing.
A visitation for Sam will be held Friday, September 12, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks-Griffin Memorial Park, Mortuary & Crematory, 5600 Lindero Canyon Road, Westlake Village, CA 91362. A funeral mass will occur Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St Jude The Apostle Catholic Church, 32032 Lindero Canyon Rd, Westlake Village, CA 91361, Burial Services to follow. A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 PM at North Ranch Country Club, 4761 Valley Spring Dr, Westlake Village, CA 91362.
