Sandra Macomber passed away on Wednesday, July 23 2025 at the age of seventy-one. Sandy was born on October 21, 1953 in St. Louis, MO to Anne & Charles Littlefield. After a divorce, Anne moved to Los Angeles with Sandy at the age of three. Sandy grew up in the San Fernando Valley, attended Poly High School, and later went on to take classes at Moorpark College.
Sandy worked at Von’s Market, and met her first husband, Glenn Law. They were soon married in 1980, and started a life together. Sandy and Glenn welcomed one daughter, Lindsay, in 1982. After some time, Sandy and Glenn Law grew apart which ultimately led them to divorce. Sandy later met her future second husband, Martin Macomber, coincidentally at Von’s Market. After enjoying a date night to a show at the local theatre, Sandy and Marty became good friends. They were married about a year later in 1987.
Sandy went on to work for Amgen in 1988, and was a valued member of the team for twenty-eight years. Sandy and Martin lived in the Thousand Oaks area for decades together. Sandy and Marty raised many beloved pets together over the years. She was passionate about photography, pottery, music, and all creatures great and small. Sandy made a lasting impact on her close family members, friends, co-workers, and the community at large. While we are deeply dismayed by her passing, a famous quote resonates strongly “Tis better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all -Alfred Tennyson.”
Sandy is survived by:
Husband: Martin
Kids: Lindsay, Todd, Glenna
Grand Kids: Hunter, Tatiana, Ana, Gracie, Manny
Great Grandkids: Tallulah, Domonic, Bella, & Archer
