Raised in Liberty, New York, Suzanne was the daughter of John Peter and Johnnie Short.
Suzanne, a graduate of the Westchester School of Nursing in Valhalla, New York, was a devoted registered nurse serving at hospitals in Liberty and New York City and then as a school nurse in Passaic Township, New Jersey. After moving to Agoura Hills, California, Suzanne spent many years as a volunteer at an assisted living facility.
Suzanne very much enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her adorable grandchildren, and always looked forward to her daily jaunts with her walking group.
Suzanne is survived by Michael, her husband of fifty-two years, son Jeff, daughter-in-law Beth, grandchildren Riley and Wyatt and her sister-in-law Marilyn Fishbone and brother-in-law Gerry Fishbone and several nieces and nephews. Suzanne was predeceased by daughter Amanda and sisters Peggy Coblish and Charlene Metchick.
