

Timothy Paul Klussman was born on November 23, 1943, to Kenneth Roland and Margie Nell (Martin) Klussman in Greeley, Colorado. Tim went home to be with our Lord Jesus on May 22, 2024, he was 80 years old. He grew up on a farm in Galeton, Colorado where he attended school and graduated participating in football, basketball, track, choir, and band. Tim worked on the farm helping with milking the dairy cows and doing farm work. He always said his favorite part of farming was the tractor work. Tim attended Pillsbury Bible College where he majored in music and played college football. Tim also attended Colorado State College studying business and marketing.
Tim attended Greeley Baptist Temple where he met Marilyn (Dieterle) Klussman in 1962. Tim and Marilyn were married on July 31, 1964. This year would have celebrated 60 years of marriage and teamwork. They served in many capacities in the churches they attended through the years with Tim serving as a deacon, trustee, music leader, choir director, and teacher often playing his trumpet during services. Tim and Marilyn have two children, Jodie (Klussman) Wingo born in 1968, and Marc Klussman born in 1971. The family lived in Colorado until 1979 and then moved to California.
Tim was in the beef, pork, and poultry business. He started in beef sales at Monfort of Colorado in Greeley, Colorado. Tim began his career in trading after moving to California. He worked at Protimex and for many years at Porky Products, Inc. Over the years Tim developed many customers and friends nationwide and was a mentor to many in the business. He was always ready to help and teach. However, Tim’s number one priority was his faith, ministry, and his family. Tim served on the board of Christian Life Ministries and took every opportunity to witness to others.
Tim is survived by his wife Marilyn, daughter Jodie Wingo of Rancho Cucamonga, son Marc (Dena) Klussman of Simi Valley, and grandchildren Wade (Jenna) Klussman of Sherman Oaks, Kayla Klussman of Simi Valley and Cole Klussman of Simi Valley and many nieces and nephews. Tim is also survived by his brother Perry Klussman of Greeley, Co., and sister Judy (Lynn) Brass of Conifer, Co. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Farrell Klussman, infant brother (Harold Klussman), and sister Jane Knobloch.
