

Tom Lasley lived a life defined by love, laughter, and genuine connection. Known for his great sense of humor and easygoing nature, Tom had an effortless way of making people feel welcome. He was funny without trying, kind without hesitation, and loved deeply by everyone who had the good fortune to know him. His generosity of spirit and charitable heart were hallmarks of a life well lived.
Above all else, Tom was a devoted and loving husband to his wife, Jayne, of 68 years, the great love of his life. Their partnership was a model of commitment, affection, and mutual respect. He was also a proud and caring father to three sons and a daughter, instilling in them strong values, integrity, and an appreciation for life’s joys. His legacy continues through his seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, all of whom he adored and took immense pride in.
Born and raised in California, Tom attended San Mateo High School and went on to graduate from Stanford University. In 1967, he and his family moved to the First Neighborhood in Westlake Village, where he became an integral part of the community and built lifelong friendships. Tom enjoyed a successful career as a Regional Sales Manager with U.S. Pipe & Supply and later with Neles Jamesbury, earning respect for his professionalism and integrity.
Tom embraced life with enthusiasm and curiosity. He loved animals, especially his dogs, and treasured his daily morning walks to Butterfly Park with friends, followed by workouts that blended fitness with camaraderie. His many passions included fishing, golf, tennis, water skiing, snow skiing, and volunteering as a basketball coach. A talented bass player, Tom also enjoyed weekend band gigs in his earlier years. He loved entertaining, hosting parties, playing bridge, and embarking on motorhome adventures.
An avid traveler, Tom explored all seven continents, cherished yearly trips to Cabo San Lucas, and spent treasured time at his vacation homes in Lake Arrowhead and Palm Desert. Through it all, Tom’s warmth, humor, and love remained constant. His presence enriched countless lives, and his memory will forever be a blessing.
