He worked for Prudential Insurance for 35 years and later for Zebra Technologies.
He was actively involved with singing and was a member of Village Voices Chorale for over 40 years. Prior to that, he and his sister Beverly sang for groups and various performances.
He is preceded in death by his parents Walter and Opal Johnson.
Walter is survived by his wife, Patricia of 29 years, his daughters Kristine and Mary, grandchildren Beckett, Peach, Nathaniel, Alisha, Collin and Patricia’s children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
