It’s been a long 7 years without you here. I miss you everyday of my life. I think about you daily and wonder what one more hug would feel like or one more smile. I read somewhere that if you constantly are thinking about someone that the person in heaven is thinking of you too. I can only hope. You were the greatest man in my life. I’ll miss you with every breath I take. I love you so much.

Papa, 
These last couple years have been so hard. I know you would tell me it was all going to be ok, and we would have hugged it out. You hugging me was my safe place. I knew that nothing could hurt me or my heart with your arms around me. I know your watching me from heaven and I can just hear you telling me “your doing a great job.” I lead with my heart just like you and grandma taught me. But it’s so hard that I just can’t see or touch you. Heaven has the most amazing angel.  I love you moon. Xoxo

And I apologize I meant 2 years. It feels like forever . 

3 years ago today the world and my heart lost the most amazing man I ever knew. Loving, smart, funny, but most of all my grandpa. My heart misses you daily. I pray when grandma met you in heaven that the reunion was beyond words. I love you so much Grandpa. I wish we could of had one more conversation about the cherry pies and one more hug.

One of the things I (Ron) remember about Wayne is that for a time my mother was his neighbor, and he was very helpful in keeping an eye on her. Quite often he spent time talking with her about our family, and was much more than just a neighbor.

Like so many, we are saddened by the loss of such a fine gentleman, but are comforted by the memories he built over the years. He will always be remembered for his  dignity,  sense of humor,  intellect and compassion. A lot could be learned from the acquired knowledge he was so willing to share, as well as his philosophy. Knowing him was such a memorable experience, and one that we truly appreciate.  Thanks, Wayne, for your friendship.
