William Collier, known to his friends and family as Bill, age 84, died of a heart attack on April 15, 2019. He was a loving husband to his late wife Beverly, a wonderful father to his children, an amazing grandfather, and a devoted son and brother. He loved this country; serving honorably in the U.S. Army.
Bill was born on December 10, 1934 to Chester and Grayce Collier. He had a zest for life and a love of sports. He grew up in Hacienda Heights, but in the early 1970s he, along with his wife and 2 oldest children, moved to the community of Agoura. It was in Agoura that his two youngest children joined the family. During his time in Agoura he gave countless hours of his time. He participated in the youth baseball and soccer programs. He served many roles that include coaching, officiating and much more. For many years he also helped run the chain crew at the Agoura High School home football games. He loved helping out in any capacity he could.
We know he touched many lives along the way, but there will be no public funeral service. His ashes will be placed at Pierce Brothers in Westlake Village along side his wife. If you would like to honor his memory we ask that in lieu of flowers you donate time or money to one of the many youth sports programs.
