With profound sorrow the family of Roger James Starlin, of West Covina, California, wishes him a peaceful final journey.
Roger was born in Santa Barbara, California on August 9, 1954, the son of James and Barbara Starlin and passed away on May 3rd, 2021.
Roger is survived by his loving wife Tung, his sister Jody and brother Henry.
Roger’s passing is deeply mourned and his gracious personality and kind generous spirit will be greatly missed. Words on paper cannot sufficiently define how irreparably our hearts are broken by his passing.
Roger’s career was always in the technical field and lastly working for Teledyne Analytical Instruments as Quality Inspection Manager.
Friends who prefer may remember their favorite charity in memory of Roger Starlin.

My deepest condolences to the family. I had the pleasure of working with Roger at Teledyne. He was bright, funny, and had the best attitude. Roger mentored me in quality audits and was very patient. He was just a great guy to work with. You will be missed. My thoughts go out to you and your family. Rest easy.

My most deepest condolences to the family. It was truly a pleasure to have gotten to know Roger. For the few years that we worked together at Teledyne was the most rewarding experience. A true mentor with a patients of an angel. Always making others laugh and bringing positivity when things would look down. My dear Roger you truly be missed. Someone so special can never be forgotten. My heart is saddened by your loss, my thoughts and prayers are with you and family.

My deepest condolence to Rogers Family. I had the pleasure of working with Roger for more than 20 years at Teledyne. In 20 years he shared nothing but respect and kindness for everyone. I can't remember a day when he was not smiling. Rest in Peace Roger.
