Dearest Tien and family,
John and I are so sad to hear of Thanh's passing. We have so many fond memories of both him and you over the years; especially the fun times we had at our home with you and all the gang. He was such a lovely man with a huge heart. He will be so missed. Our prayers go before you and know that we are keeping you close in spirit and love... John and Edie

To the family of Than Bui, it saddens me to have to write this message of condolences. I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Bui from September of 1987 to May of 2002. He was always so friendly and soft spoken. Whenever he needed assistance, it was a pleasure serving him and fulfilling his needs. I will always remember his gentle smile. Rest in peace Than...

To Tien and the Family,

It is with great sadness that I've learned of the Homegoing of your beloved. "I was so deeply saddened to hear of your husband's passing. He was a wonderful man. You have our deepest sympathy. Whenever I was able to participate in functions with your husband he was always a pleasure to be with and his wonderful smile was very uplifting to all who knew him either in working with him or on the rare occasion we met to have fun after a hard days work.

I am so sad to learn of Thanh's death. I worked with him since he came to LACOE. When working on difficult problems, my spirits were always lifted by his unending optimism in our eventual success and his reassuring smile. His happy attitude encouraged and inspired all of us.
