Condolences to the family of Truong Van Nguyen from the members of the Facebook Group, The Unseen War In Vietnam & SEA. Truong’s selfless devotion to members of the Special Operations Community, to Aircraft Down, to the Teams he inserted and extracted, to the Missions he supported for many of us from all over the world deserves the respect he has earned. As you light a candle for him please know that the light it sheds illuminates the struggles of all those men and women who fought for freedom everywhere in South East Asia.
Rest In Peace Good Soldier and God Bless!

I am sad to hear of your loss. I am a retired Green Beret but was born in 1966. Your husband saved many lives and I am proud to be connected to a warrior such as he through the regiment. God bless y’all and the family.

I don't know if I ever flew any missions with Tuong, but I flew many missions alongside Kingbees into Laos during 1969 and 1970 they were very brave pilots accompanied by brave crewmembers.

We mourn the passing of a brave special operations warrior who flew H-34 helicopters in support of our Special Forces missions into Laos and Cambodia. So many times he and men like him risked their lives to save ours, and we honor his memory and his legacy of courage and dedication. Our condolences from the soldiers of CCC in Kontum to his family and friends.

Thank you for your service, to the people of Vietnam and the people of the United States. Many men would not have lived their lives, seen their families, had the impact they did, were it not for your service.
