Allen Blumenthal, 82, formerly of River Vale, NJ passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Gail Lois Blumenthal (nee Salzberg). Devoted father of Donna Setola and her husband Orlando; Gary Blumenthal and his wife Helene. Dear brother in-law of David Salsberg and his late wife Marge; Joanne Nelson and her husband Bernhart. Loving grandfather of Joseph, Anthony and James Setola; Jared and Riley Blumenthal.
Al had a love of fishing and hunting and a passion for cooking. He also served on the River Vale Fire Department as a former chief and later as a member of the Old Tappan Fire Department.
The family will receive their friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, from 4PM to 7PM with a Fire Department service immediately following. Funeral Service on Wednesday at 11:30AM. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial, Paramus, NJ.
