

Angela Armstrong, age 56 of Waldwick, NJ, passed peacefully on March 17, 2026 at her home, surrounded by her loved ones. After defying all odds and fighting five and a half years against a glioblastoma, she went home to the Lord.
Angela was born October 27, 1969 in Westwood, NJ, a daughter of Guiseppina Mintrone and the late Luigi Mintrone. She was a beloved wife to Frank Armstrong, and a beloved mother to her two daughters, Sarah Armstrong & Raven Armstrong.
For over 25 years, Angela found passion as a hairstylist, making people feel beautiful and comfortable in her presence. She loved making people smile and letting them know they were loved.
Angela devoted her life to her husband and children. Her selfless love for others will be remembered forever by anyone that had the blessing of knowing her. She brought joy into any room and always put others before herself.
Angela loved spending time in Stone Harbor, NJ, where she spent many family vacations and girls’ trips. Every vacation, she looked forward to relaxing on the beach and spending time with her family, ending every night with homemade ice cream.
During her battle with cancer, Angela found strength in the Lord. Through rooting herself in prayer every night, she was a testament to having faith and trusting in God.
In addition to her husband and children, she leaves behind her mother, Guiseppina Mintrone, her sister Michelle Fitzpatrick, wed to John Fitzpatrick, her sister Mary Rodriguez, wed to Louis
Rodriguez, her sister-in-law Lisa Haley, her sister-in-law Diane Maglio, her son-in-law Maclane Doran, her nieces and nephews, and all of her special friends who will deeply miss her.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 22 at Becker Funeral Home in Westwood, NJ from 4:00PM to 9:00PM. Funeral services will follow on Monday at 10:30AM, beginning at Becker Funeral Home and continuing at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ.
