Nina (Anna) Sanges(Magliulo) was born in Torre del Greco Italy on June 19, 1933. In 1949, she met the love of her life, Stefano Sanges, to whom she was married for 70 years. In 1953 they started their family when Josephine (Joseph) was born and they were blessed with two more daughters and a son, Antonella (Ken), JoAnn (Dave), and Vincenzo (Anna Maria).
In 1966, they all immigrated to the United States, settling in Brooklyn, New York and then eventually to Emerson, New Jersey. Nina worked as a seamstress for a brief time but her real passion was being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. You would always find Nina in the kitchen. Whether it was cooking an incredible meal, baking desserts and her famous cookies, crafting her limoncello, or making sure Stefano was well fed. While she will be remembered as a great cook and loving person, she will also be remembered for her incredible strength and love for her family.
Nina was graced with 8 grandchildren-Louis (Rosa), Flavia (Adam), Neil (Amy), Stefano (PattyAnn), Ann Marie (Paul Joseph), Joseph (Clair), Michael (Rachel), and Gregory (Kelly) and 14 great-grandchildren-Matthew, Alessandra, Luke, Viviana, Andrew, Dylan, Stefania, Bruno, Christopher, Giuliana, Stefano, Marco, Rocco, Leo and Emilia Jo.
