Antoinette Cambria

Antoinette Cambria,92, of Brooklyn, New York, passed away peacefully on Wednesday Nov. 7, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Antoinette was born in Brooklyn on May 4, 1926 to Joseph and Margaret Baranello, the youngest of seven daughters. Antoinette was predeceased by her loving husband Bob of 68 years. Together they had 5 children, Barbara and Tony Loffredo, Joe and April Cambria, John and Cindy Cambria, Kathy and Glenn Fredericks and Mike and Vicki Cambria. They were blessed with 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Antoinette gave of her time as Den Mother to the Boy Scouts and Girl Scout leader where her kids proudly said ‘that’s my mom’. Antoinette had many talents and interests like sewing, crocheting, cooking, painting and drawing. Out of the goodness of her heart, she made curtains for St.Bernadette’s, her parish. She owned and operated Cel-Art Ceramics, where she patiently gave lessons for many years. Later on in life, she was a bookkeeper for Ibsinc corporation in manhattan, relocating to Flemington New Jersey where she continued the commute for a few more years before retiring. Antoinette had many loves, first her family, the arts, classical music and eating good food surrounded by family and laughter. All are invited to share in the celebration of her life on Sunday November 18th from 3-7 pm at Becker funeral home 219 Kinderkamack Rd Westwood New Jersey. A mass will be celebrated Monday November 19th at Lady of Good Counsel, Township of Washington New Jersey at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital; www.stjude.org
