Betty M. Mannie

Betty Marie Mannie of Township of Washington, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 11th. Beloved wife of Robert William Mannie (deceased). Surviving are her four daughters and their spouses, Lydia & Christopher Stone, Catherine Amos, Marla and Peter Seyka, and Lisa & Dan Valko. Betty was also grandmother to Joshua Amos and Samantha Bedarbis and her husband, Robert. She was great grandmother to Kayla, Owen, and Leia. Born in Paterson, NJ, she lived in Township of Washington for 59 years.

Mom was the heart and soul of our family. A constant source of love, wisdom and encouragement, she was a young widow, raising 4 girls on her own. With the help of her mother, Elizabeth Fulco (deceased), she went back to school to become a nurse to make a better life for her children. While we mourn mom’s passing, we take comfort in knowing her legacy lives on through her children and grandchildren.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood.
