William R. (Bill), 64 on Thursday, March 31, 2016 of New Milford, NJ. Survived by his loving wife, Jane. Loving father of Billy Albers and his wife, Jessica. Adoring grandfather to Lorenzo. Also survived by his five sisters, Florence and her husband John Russo, Violet McDonough, Margaret Glynn, Ethel and her husband Peter Finnerty, and twin sister Mary and her husband Dominick Trupia. Predeceased by his sister Alice Penna. Brother-in-Law to Monica Driscoll and her husband Stephen T. Buzbee, Carolyn Driscoll, and Marybeth and her husband Matthew Cuccias. Also survived my many loving nieces and nephews. Bill was born March 8, 1952 in Jersey City, NJ, son of William and Florence Albers. He resided in Jersey City, NJ most of his life and in New Milford, NJ for the past 20 years. Bill was a carpenter by trade and worked for local 253, Hackensack, NJ. During his last few years he worked at Lowe's in Paramus, NJ. Bill was a master craftsman of his trade and also enjoyed cooking, fishing and spending weekends at his beach cottage in Highlands, NJ, along with family and friends. Bill was a kind and compassionate soul and was loved by all who came in contact with him. He will be greatly missed by friends, family and co-workers. Visitation at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Tuesday, April 5 between 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Memorial Service to be held at funeral home on Wednesday, April 6 at 10:00 AM with burial to follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ.
