Blas was born in Humacao, Puerto Rico, and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He proudly served in the United States Army in Korea and carried that same spirit of strength and service throughout his life.
He was an amazing drummer and a man who could make or fix just about anything. But most of all, Blas was a devoted son, brother, and beloved uncle who brought his own special presence to our family.
He will be remembered for his talent, his strength, his generous spirit, and the many ways he was always there for the people he loved.
Blas will be deeply missed and forever loved.
A Memorial Service will be held at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ 07675, US, on October 10, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
