He earned his B.A. in History from Ramapo College, where he spent most of his career across security, maintenance, and facilities management. During his tenure, he developed many friendships, not only within his departments but across campus.
Through his own recovery and road to sobriety, Bruce became heavily involved in AA and NA groups where he discovered a strong community of friends and helped many others to become and remain sober.
He is remembered by all who knew him for his infectious ‘big belly laugh’, intentional gratitude and enthusiasm for life, incredible humor and personality, his highly personable attitude and habit of making friends wherever he went, and his dedication to helping others and supporting his community.
