Camille Joan Bruno

Camille Joan Bruno (River Vale) - On September 14th,2019, Camille Bruno, age 69, passed away peacefully at home while surrounded by her family. Camille is the beloved daughter of Estelle Del Pizzo of Long Branch, NJ and the late Joseph Del Pizzo. In addition to her mother, Camille is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years, Paul Bruno, their daughters and their husbands, Kristen Bruno and Glenn Ripoll of Parkland, FL, Alissa and Tim Ahlbum of Parkland, FL, and Laura and Daniel Rosica of Hillsdale, NJ; their cherished granddaughters Jenna, Camryn, Lola, and Lucy, and step-grandson Harrison. Camille is also survived by adoring siblings Al Del Pizzo and his wife Beverly, Joan Sarosy and her husband Robert, and seven nieces and nephews.

Born in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, Camille was a graduate of St. Agnes Academic High School and St. Joseph’s College. Over the course of her twenty year career as a nurturing preschool teacher, she worked at the United Nursery School in Hillsdale, the JCC Donna Klein in Boca Raton, FL, and the Temple Sinai Early Childhood in Tenafly. Camille will be remembered for her fun loving spirit, warm embraces, and her delicious pasta sauces. She will be missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Arrangements through the Becker Funeral Home in Westwood, NJ. Hours of visitation are 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, on Monday, September 16th. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mercy in Park Ridge on Tuesday at 11 am. Interment following the mass at Rockland Cemetery in Sparkill, NY. The family kindly asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Glioblastoma Foundation.
