Carol Anne Wenman

WENMAN, Carol A., (nee Henke), 86, on Tuesday May 30, 2017 of Woodcliff Lake. Beloved wife of the late Richard. Devoted mother Richard and wife Patricia; Stephen and wife Marilyn; David and Maggie Wenman. Dear sister of Lois Schaet. Loving grandmother of Andrew, Christianna, Britta and Bryn. Born in Chicago, IL and raised in Tenafly, she lived in Harrington Park for 53 years before moving to Woodcliff Lake in 2013. Carol graduated from Douglas College in 1952, majoring in Mathematics. After graduation, she worked for General Motors, NYC in the accounting dept. Carol was an active member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, Harrington Park. She volunteered at the Harrington Park Library and was a member of the Garden Club of Harrington Park and the Literature Club. Memorial visitation at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Rd., Westwood, on Monday 4-6 PM. A celebration of life service will be held at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, Harrington Park on Tuesday at 11:00 am. Inurnment will follow in George Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 31 Lynn St., Harrington Park, NJ 07640.
