Caroline M. Weaver

Caroline M. Weaver, 93, of Westwood, NJ and Hockessin, DE, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 18, 2026. Beloved wife of William (Bill) J. Weaver (Deceased 2016) and devoted mother of Bette J Francis, Mary E and Kenneth Kellner, William J. and Suellen Weaver, Scott and Elizabeth Weaver. Dear sister of George D. and Janice Jones, Jr. and Janet (Tuck) Jones Brittain (deceased), nephews Peter Jones, Gary Jones, Michael Brittain, Mark Brittain and Miles Brittain. Loving grandmother of Barbara Francis (deceased 2023), Devyn Kellner Forster (deceased 2023) and Robert Forster, Brian and Effie Kellner, Lindsay Kellner, Stephen and Camille Kellner, Scott and Allison Weaver, Megan and William Anderson, Richard and Jennifer Nelson. Great grandmother to Cameron Francis, Ryan, Paige and Lucas Weaver, Aidin and Hazel Kellner. Born in Westwood, Carol grew up in Montvale and lived in Montvale before returning to Westwood in 1971. Carol proudly reminded friends that her father, George D. Jones, Sr. served as Montvale Chief of Police. Carol worked as a server for Joe McDonald’s restaurant in Montvale where she met Bill Weaver and they soon married. Carol loved to entertain and was always cooking up something for her friends and neighbors. Bill and Carol were active in the Westwood Elks, both are Lifetime Members, and where Carol served as President of the Ladies Auxiliary. Carol and Bill were also active members of Hillsdale United Methodist Church where Carol participated in several groups including Martha’s Circle, 50+ Club, Westwood Seniors and more. The family will receive their relatives and friends on Monday, March 23rd at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood from 10am - 1:30 pm. A Service celebrating Carol’s life and faith will be held on Monday, March 23rd at Becker Funeral Home at 12:30 pm. Interment will immediately follow at Westwood Cemetery.
