Casmir (Casey) Stawicki, 90, of Mt. Dora, FL, and formerly of Park Ridge, NJ passed away on July 14th. He was born in Cleveland, OH and was a veteran of the US Merchant Marines and the US Marine Corps. He married Mary DeCarlo, who predeceased him. They were married for 28 years and had three children. He later married Jennie Livornese. They were together for 27 years when she passed away. Jennie had three children who lovingly referred to Casey as Dad. He was a member of the Park Ridge and Woodcliff Lake Senior Clubs and was a friend to many. There, he met a special companion, Marilyn Miller, also deceased. Casey worked as a Maintenance Supervisor in paper mills and other plants. He was a member of the Ridgefield Volunteer Ambulance Corps for eight years where he served in a number of positions, including Captain. Casey is survived by an extended family that includes six loving children, 13 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Saturday, July 21st at Our Lady of Mercy, 2 Freemont Rd. Park Ridge, NJ. Burial in Mount Carmel Cemetery in Tenafly. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday, July 20th at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkarmack Rd. Westwood, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Amvets or Tri- Boro Ambulance Corp., P.O. Box 204, Park Ridge, NJ 07656.
