Cecilia Bernadette “Babs” Cudequest nee Tormey died peacefully in her home in Oakland Park, FL at the age of 83. Cecilia is survived by her sister Ann “Nancy” McNeil of Oakland Park, FL. Loving mother of her three children, son Robert Cudequest and wife Theresa of Montvale, NJ; son William Cudequest of Oakland Park, FL.; daughter Debra Nicholson of Oakland Park and five grandchildren: Brandon Cudequest of Chicago, IL, Taylor Cudequest of Fullerton, CA; Kaitlyn Nicholson of Oakland Park, FL; Amanda and Anya Cudequest of Montvale, NJ. She is preceded in death by her husband Francis Cudequest. Cecilia was born on 1/24/1935 in New York City to John and Ann Tormey. She married Francis in November 1960. She moved to Central Valley, NY in 1969 where she worked as a secretary for Pine Tree Elementary School. She retired in 1994 and moved to Oakland Park, FL. Cecilia was a loving wife and devoted mother to her three children. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, September 16th from 3-8:00pm at Becker Funeral Home 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood NJ. The funeral is scheduled for Monday, September 17th at 10:00am at the Church of the Presentation in Upper Saddle River, NJ followed by a burial at Cemetery of the Highlands in Highland Mills, NY. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Cecilia's life.
