Charles Ronald Greve Sr.

Charles Ronald “Ron” Sr., 73, of Myrtle Beach, SC, formerly of

Hillsdale, NJ, passed away suddenly Monday, January 7, 2013.Ron was

born February 19, 1939 and was the son of the late Charles H. and

Louise Phelan Greve. He was also preceded in death by an infant son,

Andrew James Greve.Ron was a veteran having served with the United

States Marine Corps, an avid sports fan and devoted Cleveland Browns

fan. He was the former owner of a plumbing company in Hillsdale prior

to moving to the Myrtle Beach area 16 years ago.Survived by: Beloved

wife of 27 years, Ann G. Greve (nee Brawley) of Myrtle Beach, SC; 4

devoted children, Charles R. “Ron” Greve, Jr. and his wife, Bridget of

Hillsdale; Jennifer L. Greve of Montvale, Shannon M. Hall and her

husband, Larry of Midland Park, Emily L. Greve of Myrtle Beach, SC; and

five loving grandchildren, Tara Hall, Brendan, Patrick, Meghan and

Courtney Greve. Ron is also survived by a sister, Mary Ann Schaefer and

her husband, Don of Arlington, VT and niece Kimberly Schaefer and

nephew Don Schaefer.The family will receive family and friends on

Monday, January 14th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Becker Funeral Home, 219

Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ 07675. The Funeral Mass will be

celebrated at St. Andrew R.C. Church, Westwood, NJ on Tuesday at 10AM.

Interment will follow at Westwood Cemetary, Westwood,
