Charles J. Schwartz

SCHWARTZ, Charles J., 82, of Whiting, NJ formerly of Emerson, NJ passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2012. Devoted husband of Patricia Schwartz. Beloved father of Charles Schwartz, Janet Baker and her husband Garry, Bill Schwartz and his wife Barbara, Jamie Bonett and her husband Dave, and Jeanne Dinnebeil. Cherished grandfather of Kelly Cacia and her husband Joe, Gary Baker and his wife Kalee, Dianna Schwartz, Carla Schwartz, Bill Baker, Chad Schwartz, Ryan Dinnebeil, Michelle Dovale, Billy Schwartz, and Lauren Dinnebeil. Loving great grandfather of Charlie Cacia. Predeceased by his parents William and Anna Schwartz and his brother Earle Schwartz and uncle of many nieces and nephews. Charles served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a little league coach in both Emerson and New Milford, NJ for 10 years. Charles worked as Senior Systems Consultant for The Equitable for 41 years from which he retired, and went on to become an antiques dealer in his later years. He was also an usher at his local church the Redeemer Lutheran Church of Manchester. The family will receive their friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Saturday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. There will be a chapel service at Becker Funeral Home on Sunday at 12:30 PM. Private interment at the NJ Veterans Cemetery.
