Christine Anagnostakos
September 22, 1929 – July 29, 2022

Christine Anagnostakos, 92, of Montvale, passed away July 29, at home. She was predeceased by the love of her life, Professor Nicholas Anagnostakos. Christine had a busy career working as an account executive at Mercedes Benz of North America, in Montvale, for 18 years. After retiring, she worked part time in two medical practices.
Christine is survived by her four children: Catherine Meidanis (Mike Meidanis), Patricia Galitsis, Peter Anagnostakos, and Jane Tambone (Glenn Tambone). Five Grandchildren: Bobby Meidanis (Stamatia Tsismenakis), Nicholas Meidanis (Isis Garcia), Christopher Meidanis, Ariana Galitsis, and Jason Galitsis. Five Great-Grandchildren: Katerina Meidanis, Mia Meidanis, Nayia Meidanis, Luka Meidanis, and Manos Meidanis.
Christine is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Christine enjoyed an active lifestyle and had many great friends.
Anyone who knew Christine loved her and knew that the world was a better place because of her.
A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2022 from 2pm-8pm at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Rd, Westwood, NJ 07675. Funeral services will be at The Metropolitan Cathedral of St. John The Theologian, 353 E Clinton Ave, Tenafly, NJ, 07670, on Friday morning, August 5, 2022, at 10am.
In lieu of flowers, Christine’s wishes were that donations be made to The Nicholas Anagnostakos Scholarship Fund at Bergen Community College, 400 Paramus Road, Paramus, NJ 07652.
