Dear Robin & Bob, I am so shocked and saddened by this news and cant imagine the pain you and your girls are suffering. We havent seen Chris in many years, but it sounds like he was a wonderful son, friend and all around great guy--a chip off the old block, for sure.  Tim and I are away and cant attend the services, which I deeply regret. Know that you are in our hearts and prayers. I met Chris about 15 years ago when he was working at Maritime. I was a guest very often for a few years. I instantly knew he was a tribal member. He had a ton of personality and always treated me like the most important guest. Often he would upgrade me to the penthouse.  We soon discovered that we were both golfers. Then he invited me to a Cinco de Mayo golf tourney in Westchester. Probably the best golf tournament I've ever been too. A real treat. I am so thankful to him for that memory. He was just a wonderful, energetic and loving person. Surely he will be missed. Condolences to his family and friends. RIP Chris…

Chris is a beautiful soul that could never be put out. He’s made an impact on everyone he has ever met. You can talk to him about anything on your mind good or bad, joke with him, even someone to just talk to. The way the room lit up because he was in it, will always be remembered, just like his laugh and smile. Chris exuded so much confidence in life and even for others. Always could rely on him. We had a beautiful last day together last week. I won’t forget it, or him. He will truly be loved and missed , forever more.

I have never met a more sincere, thoughtful, and genuine person than Chris. He had an amazing ability to connect with people and bring people together. Chris is the outlier, the person who asks the extra question and truly listens to the response…because he cared and wanted to know you.   

Chris’ character and passion for life was unmatched. His personality was infectious and he always left you feeling good about yourself. 

I hope he knows how much I loved him and how I valued his friendship. There’s no one I’d rather play a round of golf with. RVCC will never be the same for me.

Chris worked in the Banquet Department at the Hilton for only about 11 months. So how does someone we worked with for less than a year leave such a lasting impact on our team? Because Chris was that guy—a true character, a kind and generous soul, and someone who worked his tail off for all of us.

Chris made every shift go by faster because we were always laughing. He knew how to make me smile when I was stressed. I'd catch him chatting and laughing with employees from departments I'd never even spoken to before, and I've practically grown up at this hotel.

I'll miss talking movies, TV, music, sports, and food with my man. I hope the Rudolph family knows just how important Chris was to all of us. Even though we only had 11 months with him, we'll be talking about Chris for years—if not decades—to come.

I am so deeply sorry for the loss of your son Chris. I did not know your boy but the tributes tell the story of an amazing man.  My heart goes out to you, Bob and your family during this heartbreaking time. May memories of Christopher bring you peace.

Rudy and I met as orientation roommates at Northeastern, Summer of 1997 

We hit it off right away and became friends. We later shared an apartment on Hemenway St.   Rudy had a vast knowledge and passion for music, sports, pop culture and having fun. 

Rudy was fearlessly personable.  He had a magnetic presence about him; he was our campus’ Ferris Bueller.  He got along with everyone, and they him.  Rudy was the guy who could get up in front of a crowded auditorium and ad lib, anxiety free.   

Rudy also had an incredibly strong bond with his family.  I remember when they’d visit Northeastern and Mr. & Mrs. Rudolph would take approximately one-third of our student body out to dinner.  We had a lot of laughs 

Over the years, Rudy served as a gracious and generous host to my wife and I when we traveled down to visit him at The Maritime. 

On one such trip, we witnessed Rudy perform the finest version of Hall & Oates ‘She’s Gone’ the Karaoke circuit had ever seen.  Even the most cynical NYC Hipsters in attendance were genuinely clapping.  

I’m devastated by the news and extend my deepest condolences to the Rudolph family.  
I'm going to miss him deeply.  Rudy was truly one of one.

You were one of the light of my lives. Every time I saw you, I knew it was gonna be a good day. You never let me talk down about myself about anything. You were my confidence. The positivity and love you radiated to everyone was indescribable. You made everyone feel so loved and appreciated, I hope we made you feel that as well. We love you Chris. HPR 4 LYFE

I'm so thankful that I was able to meet you and work alongside you, and I am saddened that our time together was so brief. 
Your presence always made the workplace a brighter place with your cheerfulness and your humor.

I first met Rudy when I played football for Pascack Hills in high school. Our schools were archrivals, and we played against his team on Thanksgiving—a game I never let him forget.

The summer before we headed off to college, a mutual friend introduced us because we were both attending Northeastern in Boston. From the very beginning, Rudy embraced me like a brother. He invited me to get-togethers at his house and introduced me to his family and friends.

Moving to a new city for college can be intimidating, but having a brother like Rudy made the transition effortless. His personality was infectious. He had a huge circle of friends and always knew where the parties were, but more importantly, he had a way of making everyone feel welcome.

We shared so many great memories and laughs. We lived just down the hall from each other in our freshman dorm and spent way too many hours hanging out at his place on Hemenway after freshman year—playing football, video hames, partying, and just enjoying life. We were always competing with each other at something, but his warmth, friendly demeanor, and charm meant it was always rooted in love and respect.

My heartfelt condolences to the Rudolph family. Thank you, Rudy, for your friendship and for treating me like family. I’ll miss you bro.

I feel incredibly lucky to have known you, Chris. You were one of those people who brought out the best in everyone you met. I always looked forward to seeing you at work because I knew that if you were there, it would be a good day even when work itself wasn't.

To say you'll be missed is an understatement. I'll always remember our conversations about acting and writing. I'm grateful our paths crossed. Even though our time knowing each other was brief, you left a lasting mark on my life.

There are very few people you get to meet in life that are loved by everybody that knows them. Rudy was one of those special people. You will be greatly missed my friend. RVCC will not be the same without you.

When I first met you, you were always so kind and welcoming. You always said my name with excitement, joked around with me, and made everyone feel comfortable. Over time, we built a friendship that I’ll always be grateful for. 🙏🏽

I’ll never forget giving you the nickname “Arcade Chris” 🎮. It always fit your fun personality, and every time I called you that, it brought a smile.

One memory I’ll always hold onto is when you gave me that WNBA T-shirt 👕. You told me one of your friends gave it to you, but it didn’t fit, and you thought of me. I told you that you didn’t have to give it to me, but you said, “No, take it. You’re a good dude.” I thanked you, gave you a hug, and told you, “Man, you’re such a good dude.” ❤️ That moment showed the kind of person you were—thoughtful, generous, and always looking out for others.

I’m really going to miss you, my friend. 😢 I’m blessed that I got the chance to meet you and share those memories with you. Thank you for always being yourself, for the laughs, and for the kindness you showed me. 🙏🏽

It is with a very heavy heart I have learned that Rudy is no longer with us on Earth But he is definitely in Gods arms which is where he will take residency from now until the end of time. Rudy was truly one of a kind, always laughing,making everyone around him laugh!A very handsome young man with a heart of gold. For all of us that knew him I say we were the lucky ones. He will be missed by all of us❤️ eternally. His presence in Heaven will not go unnoticed . He was a true Gem❤️.   His love for acting brought him joy along with all of us besides him so much that I referred to him as my Al Pacino .He was so brilliant a rock star in my eyes.
