There is no one in the world who loved their family more than Cira. She was a devoted wife and mother and cared more about their happiness than anything else. My best memory of Cira is that no matter what she was going through, and we all know she went through so much, she always took the time to ask how "I" was doing. Cira was selfless, kind, patient, strong, courageous, loving, caring, and every other positive adjective out there. She was hopeful until the very end and fought the fight to the finish.
"She fought the good fight, she finished the race, she kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7"
Cira felt blessed to have such a strong, loving and caring family, but the reality was she was a blessing to me and to all who knew and loved her. I will truly miss her but am glad when I remember we will meet again one day. My condolences to Tom, Amanda, Elizabeth, Joe, Laura, Fred, Marie, Peter, Tracy, and the entire Salerno-Trauth family.

Fallen Limb
A limb has fallen from the family tree.
I keep hearing a voice that says, “Grieve not for me”.
Remember the best times, the laughter, the song.
The good life I lived while I was strong.
Continue my heritage, I’m counting on you.
Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through.
My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest.
Remembering all, how I truly was blessed.
Continue traditions, no matter how small.
Go on with your life, don’t worry about falls
I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin.
Until the day comes we’re together again.

Cira was a beautiful person, and she fought bravely. I know the gates of heaven will be wide open for her. She was one of my first friends. We met at school at OLGC and played together often as children at each other’s homes. We lost touch going to different high schools but reconnected via Facebook and messaged a lot over the last few years. My prayers go out to her entire family. Rest in peace dear friend.
