Ciro "Jerry" Della Bella

Ciro “Jerry” Joseph of Hampstead, NC age 69, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on April 29th. He was born in Hackensack, NJ on February 10, 1946 to the late Pasquale Della Bella and Stella Dlugokencka Della Bella. Prior to moving to NC in 2006, he was a lifelong resident of Montvale, NJ.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Wanda Babcock Della Bella, his son, Jay Della Bella & wife Jennifer, his daughter, Jennifer Lopez & husband Vincent, grandchildren, Ava & Nicholas Lopez and Darren Meunier all of Hampstead, NC. He is also survived by his sisters, Susan Friscoe of Wanaque, NJ and Patricia Della Bella of Closter, NJ. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Helen Della Bella.

Jerry retired from ThyssenKrupp Elevator in 2006, was a veteran of the US Army, a member of the International Union of Elevator Constructors – Local One, life member of the New Jersey State Firemen’s Association, member of the New Jersey-New York Firemen’s Association and was a volunteer for over 40 years with the Montvale Fire Department.

In North Carolina, visitation will be Saturday, May 2nd from 5:00 to 7:00pm with a Service following at 7:00pm at Andrews Mortuary in Hampstead.

In New Jersey, a memorial will be held on Saturday, May 9th from 2:00 to 4:30pm at Becker Funeral Home in Westwood.
