Cleveland A. Michaels

MICHAELS, Cleveland Aubrey, 89, lovingly known as “Buster” on February 9, 2016 of Englewood, Fla. Beloved husband of 58 years to the late Mary (nee Boyle). Devoted father of Christopher Michaels, Darylynn Bachman and husband Robert, Renee Pedersen and husband Jorden, Keith Mary Drew and husband William, Sean Michaels and wife Kate, and late son Bruce Michaels. Dear brother of Dorothy Eason and the late Daryl Michaels, Beverly Rouse, Audrey Weideman and Valerie Jean Lynch. He is survived by his many loving grandchildren and great/grandchildren.

Born and raised in New York City before retiring to Florida. Cleveland served in the navy during WWII before becoming a police officer with the NYPD. He was assigned to the 24th precinct for 21 yrs. before retiring in 1973. He was a member of the New York PBA.

Visitation at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road., Westwood, NJ on Monday, February 15 between 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. A Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, February 16 at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Victories RC Church, Harrington Park, NJ followed by a burial at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.
