Dan La Vecchia (“Big Dan”) died on Wednesday March 30. Dan is survived by his wife, Marietta, daughter, Dina and her husband Dave Holloway, his son Daniel La Vecchia and wife Mandy, five grandchildren who adored him, Will, Chris, Nick, Drew and Olivia. Also survived by his sister Pat and her husband Artie Matzel, along with many nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers in-law who had the greatest respect for Dan and loved him deeply. There will be a funeral mass on Saturday, April 2 at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Old Tappan at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cholangiocarcinoma.org
