Dennis J. Flynn Jr.

FLYNN, Dennis J., Jr., 35, of Emerson, NJ, passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2012. Beloved father of Allison and Thomas Flynn. Devoted son of Dennis Sr. and Heidi Flynn. Dear brother of Kerri Ann Flynn, and Jennifer Flynn-Sansevere and her husband Daniel. Loving grandson of Elizabeth Flynn. Cherished uncle of Anna Sansevere. He is also survived by the mother of his children Kristy Yeck and her son Cody Yeck as well as many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He was a Senior Corrections Officer with the NJ Department of Corrections for six years. He was a member of PBA Local 105 and received numerous commendations from the department. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9PM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Church of the Assumption, Emerson, NJ on Friday at 9:30AM. Interment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Dennis Flynn’s Children Education Fund/ Fidelity Investments, 45 Sullivan Drive, Emerson, NJ 07630.
