Dolores Anne Defina

Dolores Anne Defina, beloved sister, sister in-law, aunt, and friend, passed away on August 22, 2026, at the age of 60. Dolores was born on August 17, 1966 to Doris and Thomas Defina, and was raised in Westwood, New Jersey. She was a Jersey girl her entire life.

Aa a young adult, Dolores tried hunting, fishing, and camping. She enjoyed boating and loved the beach, later settling down to taking care of her black cats. Dolores started out as a tom boy, working in the garage with her dad, and later became a Varsity shot put thrower for Westwood High School. She was a volunteer for the laidies auxiliary to the Westwood Fire Department. Her career began as an office worker, eventually becoming CFO at Exceptional Parent Magazine and Account Executive at The Insurance Place.

Dolores is survived by her brother, Stephen Defina, sister in law Heidi Defina, and nephews Shawn Defina, Luke Defina, and Jackson Defina. Dolores was a remarkable sister, aunt, and friend to all. She will be forever missed.
