

She grew up in Cliffside Park, New Jersey to a Polish family and attended Cliffside Park High School where she graduated in 1964.
Dolores was a great cook and baker who hosted many fun occasions for family and friends over the years. When her daughters were young, she was a class mother, Girl Scout Leader and loved going on class trips. She sewed dolls and Halloween costumes and beautified her home with handmade pillows and draperies. She loved flowers and enjoyed creating displays inside and outside the home.
Professionally, she worked in administration at several companies such as Bendix, A&P Headquarters and Toys “R” Us. She also worked as a store manager at a women’s apparel shop.
Dolores will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her especially for her sense of humor. She had a natural gift for making people laugh and feel at ease regardless of the circumstance. She found true happiness in looking after her loved ones, particularly when they needed her most.
She is survived by her loving husband, Edmund of almost 58 years, her loving daughters Michelle Piano and Dena Winkler, and her loving granddaughters Rebecca and Ashley Winkler.
Visitation services will be held at Becker Funeral Home, located at 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ 07675, on Monday, October 13, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A Funeral Mass is scheduled at Our Lady Mother of the Church, 209 Woodcliff Ave, Woodcliff Lake, NJ 07677, on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
The committal will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery, 179 Hackensack Ave, Hackensack, NJ 07601, on October 14, 2025, from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm.
