Dolores Sweeney

Dolores "Dolly" Sweeney (nee Watts), of Montvale, NJ, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2012. Wife of the late William M. Sweeney, M.D. Daughter of the late Jesse Watts and Helen Quigley Watts. Mother of Karen Mactas and her husband Mark, Kim Kralik and her husband Christopher, and Michael Sweeney and his wife Cynthia. Grandmother of Michelle Kralik, Jessica and Amanda Mactas, and Matthew and Luke Sweeney. Sister to the late Gerald and Richard Watts. Received her RN from Holy Name Hospital, attended St. Louis University, received a BS in Nursing from Seton Hall University, and an MS in Guidance and Counseling from Montclair State. Dolly loved writing, playing the piano, dancing, swimming, college basketball, and championing lost causes. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Saturday, 9:30-10:30AM. (www.becker-funeralhome.com) The family will gather with their relatives and friends for a Funeral Mass at St. John the Baptist, Hillsdale, NJ on Saturday at 11AM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY.
