

Donald Joseph Foy, Jr., 75, of Hackensack, NJ, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2026. Born on September 6, 1950, and raised in the Bronx, Donald embraced a life filled with hard work and cherished family moments.
Donald is survived by his devoted wife of 44 years, Maria Foy (née Mannine); his children: Victoria Lederle and her husband Roger, Donnie Foy and his wife Kelly, and Anthony Foy and his wife Natalie. He was the cherished grandfather of Nikki (Chris), Sami (Bob), Lindsay, Logan, Lyla, Lucas, and Emilia; Loving great-grandfather to Avery. Donald is also survived by his sister Ellen Foy (Paul Shelton); brother Richie Foy; sister-in-law Laurie Foy, brother-in-law Davis Conley; niece Jennifer; nephew Richie; and good friends Buddy Albert and Tommy Dunne. He was predeceased by his parents Donald and Roberta (Betty) Foy; sister Christine Conley; and mother-in-law Dolores Losco.
Donald’s career was marked by dedication and resilience. In his early twenties, he owned and operated a milk route before transitioning to construction work in the New York area for over two decades. He later spent 20 years driving a sanitation truck in New York City. As a testament to his skill and determination, Donald designed and built his family home in Washington Township with the help of his children—a project that created treasured memories.
A man of diverse interests, Donald took joy in growing flowers, building computers, and had a passion for electronics. He loved reading and learning about the history of NYC and sports and built a treasured collection of sports memorabilia over the years that he shared with his family. Most of all, Donald found great joy spending time with his family, including summers spent in Cape Cod and Wildwood.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 31st from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Becker Funeral Home with a service at 5:30 pm.
