SNYDER, Donald W., 88, of Twp. of Washington, NJ, passed away on Monday, December 4, 2017. He was born in Batavia, NY to Homer and Margaret Snyder. Beloved husband of Dolores Snyder for 55 years. Devoted father of Bruce Snyder and Wayne Snyder and his wife Janice. Dear brother of Lorraine Hess and Robert Snyder. He is predeceased by his brothers, Homer and Truman Snyder. Before retiring, he was Vice President Secretary and Treasurer of Valley Savings Bank in Closter, NJ. He was an Army Veteran, having served our country proudly in the Korean War. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Friday, December 8 from 4-7PM. The Funeral Service celebrating Donald’s life and faith will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, December 9 at 10AM. Entombment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Donald’s name to the Sub-Acute Unit of the Armenian Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 70 Main Street, Emerson, NJ 07630.
