Wishing you condolences and best memories of our Aunt Dorothy. She was always welcoming and kind to me when I was a kid growing up. Her passing is sad but I cherish our time together. Take care and love to family.

I was so sorry to hear of Dorothy's passing. What a blessing to have shared my life with her. She was my mentor and my friend. She was truly an inspiration for me and our church family. As I reflect on these past 35 years that we had together, I cherish the direction that she gave to me and our choir music ministry. Dorothy was truly a guiding force that established the quality of the music that was offered to our congregation. It was her mission in life that only added to our worship services over these years. She was a disciplined classy Southern Belle that never swayed from what was right. I am honored to have known her and thankful to God to have her placed in my life. She was always there for a helpful conversation regarding me and my family. I will miss her always and am honored to have sung so many duets and had her accompany me on the piano. Her solos for our church, whether it was Christmas, Easter or just a regular Sunday worship were always enriched by her offertory solos that she sang for the glory of God. She had a shining light that will always be in my heart. I will miss her very much. She is now singing with the most glorious Chorus now..
She lived a full wonderful life and enriched others.  I pray Denise, you and your family have comfort in knowing how much happiness she gave to all of us.  She had a life well lived. 

May her memory be eternal..

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Desandre.  I recall her leading us kids singing in Sunday School while she played the piano.  If we were not singing well enough she would have us start over until we got it right.  She was always pleasant and smiling, upbeat and she loved to garden.   My sympathy to Denise, Rick and family.

Could this be the lady I remember from childhood singing in the choir at the Methodist church in Hillsdale? She was so pretty, and very nice. I remember my Mama saying she had such a lovely voice! My condolences to her family.

Dear Denise, Rick, Casey, Braden and Amanda,  Val and I always treasured our visits with Aunt Dot by phone and face to face. Whether it was about knitting and sewing, her plants, her kids and grandkids or her pets, her joy and enthusiasm about life was infectious! Her care and devotion to her sister Helen and my mother was deep and touching.
