Edmund J. Johnson, 85 of Hillsdale, NJ passed away on April 4, 2012 at Hospice Care of Hackensack, Hackensack, NJ. Born in Flushing, NY, he resided in Brooklyn NY and moved to Hillsdale in 1966. Edmund was an Army WW II veteran, a graduate of the New York Institute of Technology and the New York Institute of Design and Construction and retired as a senior engineer supervisor for Krupp Willputte Corp., Murray Hill, NJ. He enjoyed golf, tennis, bowling, fishing, swimming, dancing and traveling. Edmund was predeceased by his beloved wife of 43 years, Adele (Kowalski) Johnson in July 2003, his 6 brothers and 2 sisters. He is survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Funeral from the Becker Funeral Home on Tuesday 9:30am with a 10:30am funeral mass at St. John the Baptist Church, Hillsdale, NJ. Interment will follow in Westwood Cemetery, Westwood, NJ. Visiting hours are Monday 2-4 & 7-9pm at the funeral home.
