Edward Charles Brady, Sr.

Brady, Edward C. Sr. passed away on Monday, August 19th, 2019 at the age of 79. Edward leaves behind his brother Robert A. Brady and wife Penny; his sister Barbara A. Brady; his daughter Deanne Roumel and husband Thomas; his son Edward C. Brady Jr. and wife Leah; his grandchildren Liam Edward Brady, Quinn Thomas Brady and Shealin-Rose Kathryn Brady. Edward was most recently employed with the Westwood Parking Authority for the past 4 years. He previously worked as a mechanic for 30 years with Timmy’s Service Center on Broadway. Edward graduated from Westwood High School in 1959, entered the Navy upon graduation and was honorably discharged. He married the late Marilyn T. Hassenplug in 1964 and was happily married for 51 years before her passing in 2015. His hobbies included model trains, woodworking and a love of golf. While he enjoyed watching golf, his true passion was for playing golf. He loved life and his family. He loved reading history, exploring geography and especially puzzles. He would spend hours putting together 1,000-piece puzzles. His sudden and untimely death was a tremendous blow to his friends and family. Per his request, services were private.
