During that time, he joined various industry associations, where he held the position of President at both the American Cemetery Association and the Cremation Association of North America. He also devoted time to local civic and private organizations, including the board of the New York School for the Deaf and his beloved Locust Point Yacht Club. After his retirement he continued to serve as a consultant for various memorial-based organizations. Ed enjoyed being a “snowbird,” splitting time between Arizona, Florida and Cape May, NJ.
One of his favorite past-times was to travel with his family—from camping in the early days to frequent trips to Walt Disney World. He truly relished his time with loved ones and often expressed how proud he was of his children and grandchildren. We love you Opa!
