Born in the Bronx to Italian immigrants Salutaria and Giustino Rosini, Ed was one of seven children. As a boy during the Depression, he shined shoes to make money for his family. He served in the Army, Navy and Air Cadets during World War II and was deployed to the Philippines toward the end of the war where he assisted in closing General MacArthur’s headquarters. Following the war, he married his beloved wife, Eva (nee) Nardelli, and joined the New York City Police Department where he served for more than 20 years. He then established a successful wholesale cosmetics business in Teaneck where he lived at the time. Sharing a meal with his family was his greatest pleasure.
Ed is survived by five sons, Neil, James, Edward, Barry and Steven; their wives, Elizabeth, Bobbie, Diane, Lynda and Jane; 11 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
