

Ernest P. Weber Jr., 80, of Hollywood, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. A man known for his wit, patience, kindness, and unmatched generosity; “Ernie” touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Born on May 13, 1944, Ernie served his country with pride and honor as a Captain in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He graduated from Officer Candidate School, forming lifelong bonds with his fellow soldiers — his cherished band of brothers.
Ernie found joy in life’s simple pleasures: the love of his devoted dog Bear, cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles every season, and spending treasured time with his family including many trips to Disney World. He was a source of strength, wisdom, and unconditional love to those around him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest P. Weber Sr. and Marie Weber, and his sister, Barbara Stucke. He is survived by his beloved wife Carol and their children, daughters Jaime Kausch (Brian) and Kristi Zurybida (Francis), stepson Sean Conlon (Nicole), and stepdaughter Kasey McBain (Kevin). Ernie was a proud and loving grandfather to Madelyn, Brendan, Jillian, Nolan, Malcolm, Wesley, and Parker.
His memory will live on through the stories, laughter, and love he shared with all who knew him. Services will be held to honor his life and legacy on Wednesday May 14, 2025 at Becker Funeral Home in Westwood, New Jersey from 4:00-7:00 p.m. followed by a Catholic Mass on Thursday May 15, 2025 at 10:00am at Our Lady Good Counsel, 668 Ridgewood Rd, Washington Township. Military Honors and Interment will be held at George Washington Memorial Park located at 234 Paramus Rd, Paramus, NJ 07652.
