Ferdinand Friesenhahn

Ferdinand Friesenhahn of Hillsdale, NJ, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at the age of 88. Known to family and friends as Fred, he was born in Timisoara, Romania, to Baltazar and Barbara. Beloved husband to deceased wife Gertrude and brother to Anne; loving father of Richard Friesenhahn and his wife Adele of Lincroft, NJ, Ingrid Brennan and her husband Matthew of Leonia, NJ, and Lore Fitzsimmons and her husband Michael of Westwood, NJ; and cherished grandfather of Jason and Matthew Friesenhahn, William and Sara Brennan, and Erin, Katie and Mary Fitzsimmons. Retired Senior Vice President of Coach, Inc., Fred received numerous awards as a designer and manufacturer during his 50 years in the leather industry. He loved his family, he loved his work and he loved this country. The family will receive their relatives and friends for visitation at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Rd, Westwood, NJ, on Friday, May 29 from 4-9 PM. Cremation will be private.
