Florence "Flo" Hartman

HARTMAN Florence Ann (nee Velicky), 87, of Westwood, passed peacefully on Thursday, February 28, 2019. Born in Passaic and raised in Garfield, NJ she was the daughter of the late Vera “Veronica” and Michael Velicky. She resided in Westwood for 63 years and was well known for her beautiful smile and her love of Yankee baseball. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 52 years, William Hartman, her twin sister Lorraine Niemiec and sister Margaret Wakxmunsky. Florence is survived by her devoted children, William and his wife Valeria; Kathleen Falborn and her fiancé Anthony Mariani and cherished granddaughters Veronica and Trina Falborn along with numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive their friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Monday, March 4th between the hours of 5 PM – 9 PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 5th, at 11:30 am at the funeral home with interment immediately following at Westwood Cemetery. She will finally be reunited with her husband and laid to rest on the 10th Anniversary of his burial.
