IN MEMORY OF FRANK DE RISO
Frank De Riso, 80, of Jackson Twp. NJ, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, November 21, 2019. Born in Cliffside Park, NJ, he resided in Old Tappan, NJ, prior to settling in Jackson Twp, fourteen years ago.
Frank was the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of “Frank De Riso & Sons, Inc.” - a plumbing and heating company established in Old Tappan, NJ, in 1981. After retiring, he went on to become a plumbing code official for the State of NJ.
Frank was a parishioner of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church in Old Tappan where he served as a Eucharistic Minister. He had a deep love and devotion to God. Frank, a Cursillista since 1974, led several retreats in the Archdiocese of Newark. His warmth, humor and fellowship will be missed.
He and his wife, Palma retired to Jackson Twp in 2005. There, they became parishioners of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church. Frank became an active member of the South Knolls Men's Club and their Golf Club. He was also a member of the Italian Club, a Bocce team, and enjoyed participating at other community events, including fellowship gatherings at Coffee & Conversation. Frank's greatest joy was spending time with his family. He loved life. We will miss his jokes, quips and wisdom.
Frank is survived by his spouse, of 60 years, Palma; his children Pamela De Riso; Patrick De Riso and his wife, Jessica; Michael De Riso and his wife, Ann; and his beloved grandchildren.... Kaylan De Riso and her son, Mikey; Patrick De Riso and his wife, Emily; Nicole Wardrop; Mathew Wardrop; Leanne Pelke and her husband, Kyle; Nicole Cassell, Alyson De Riso; Michael De Riso; and John Thomas De Riso. Also: his sister, Mary Ann Gentile of NJ; and brother, Patrick De Riso and his wife, Gina of Naples, Florida; his in-laws, Maryann and Michael Perkins of Princeton, NJ; and cousin, Anthony De Riso, MD and his wife Collette of Sandusky, Ohio. He is predeceased by his brothers, Philip and Cosmo De Riso, and brother-in-law Michael De Santis.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his memorial visitation on Saturday, November 30th from 1-5 at GEORGE HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd, Jackson, NJ. The funeral service will be at 1:30 pm.
On December 1, 2019, a memorial visitation will be held from 1-5 at BECKER FUNERAL HOME, in Westwood, NJ with a funeral mass at St. Pius X, in Old Tappan, NJ the next day, on December 2nd, at 11 a.m.

Dear De Riso Family,
I'm so sorry for your loss.
I will always have great memories of Mr. De Riso.
I will always remember him coaching me and playing baseball with Patrick and Michael.
He was a very great man and I'll never forget how nice he always was to everyone.
I'm so grateful for knowing him.
