Frank Joseph Goddel

Frank Joseph Goddel, 58, of River Edge, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 8th, surrounded by the love of his family.

Beloved husband of Coleen Goddel and devoted father of Kelly (Zachary) Woods and Brian Goddel. Predeceased by his father Kurt Goddel. Survived by his mother, Jacqueline Goddel. Dear brother of Christy (Brian) Meagher. Beloved brother-in-law of John & Lois Conaty, Kevin & Lisa Conaty, and Michael & Heather Conaty. Loving uncle of Patrick, Keri, Michael (Alicia), Christine (Patrick), Kevin (Shannon), Kaitlyn, Johnny, and Justin.

Born in Brooklyn, Frank made River Edge his home for the past 30 years. He dedicated much of his professional life to The Colony Club in Manhattan, where his hard work, leadership, and commitment earned him a recent promotion from Controller to General Manager.

Above all else, Frank was a devoted husband, father, and provider. He worked tirelessly throughout his life to give his family every opportunity possible and took great pride in caring for those he loved. His dedication, work ethic, strength, and unwavering commitment to his family will be remembered by all who knew him.

Frank was a passionate New York sports fan who could always be found cheering on the Knicks, Mets, and Jets. Whether celebrating a victory or enduring a tough season, his loyalty to his teams never wavered. He also had a special place in his heart for his beloved pets- Pal, Charlie, and Scottie, who always brought a smile to his face.

Frank will be remembered for his determination, his love of family, and the countless sacrifices he made for those he loved. While his family is heartbroken by his loss, they take comfort in knowing that his love, guidance, and legacy will remain with them forever.

Visitation will be held at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ 07675, US, on June 12, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 445 Fifth Ave, River Edge, NJ 07661, US, on June 13, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
