Fred was the nicest person and could make anyone laugh. He was the best uncle my daughter Amanda could ask for. My wife and I loved Fred. Such a great guy loved by all. Love you Fred

Like a father to my husband Jay, Fred will be sorely missed. His smile could light up a room and his presence instantly felt. The funniest guy and the most animated and expressive storyteller. There is no one on this planet that could make my husband laugh as hard as he would when talking to Fred. I always knew when he was on the phone with him. He was a true mentor and I don't know what we'll do without him. He always joked that we should've named our daughter Frederica after him :-) My heart goes out to Lisa during this incredibly difficult time. May the countless and memories and stories keep his spirit alive and allow you to laugh more than cry. What a guy <3

I knew Fred's at PVHS only by his reputation as an athlete, stand-up guy, and a real leader. Later in life I came to know him through our reunions and the occasional class dinners/lunches. I found him to be a really good person and very memorable as he was literally and figuratively head and shoulders over everyone. His tragic passing wounds the hearts of classmates who knew him and classmates like myself who came to know him years after went our separate paths in life. My sincerest condolences to his family and lifelong friends.

My deepest condolences to Lisa and family. Fred was an amazing man. He was one of the driving forces in our Pascack Valley High School, Class of ‘64 Alumni group. A leader and a gentleman with a sharp wit and known by all as the most loyal friend. Fred will be sorely missed by those who loved him. May he rest in eternal peace.
